Brainstorming ideas

When creating a lesson to be represented in the Virtual environment of Minecraft Education, think of three good ideas of how to present the content in a real world situation. When I created the lesson “Deep Sea Rescue,” I was inspired by a worksheet I found on teachers pay teachers.

When I created the lesson on combing like terms girl scout cookie season was on and I thought this would be a good avenue for a real world application.

Each scenario to be expressed in the virtual environment will be expanded to a section of about 5 problems. Than, if I want more sections, look for inspiration in any word problem, in a textbook or worksheet and attempt to create other scenarios for that lesson.

Those three scenarios will divide your lesson into three sections, one section per scenario. When running the lesson, the more sections I have made in Minecraft Education, the more students will be divided over the map. This prevents overcrowding in any single part of the virtual world.

Each section should be independent of the others when curating ideas for sections. This ensures that students can start at any part of the lesson and be just as apt to finish that section as any other section.
