I recommend to any teacher who wants to start creating their own content to be familiar with the functions of Minecraft.  Microsoft’s teacher academy is perfectly set up for that goal. Even if you do not finish, this give you a great understanding of how the game works.

Create a Lesson from a Template

Creating your own lesson from scratch can be daunting if you have never done it before. First, I recommend you use one of the template worlds I have created and modify it to your needs. NPC (Non-Player Characters) can add a rich flavor and depth to your lesson. Utilizing the buttons option enables you, as the creator, to model thought-provoking behavior from the NPCs students enter act with. Asset World

If you enjoy creating your own lessons, you need to start an asset world. Here you can save the structures you have used in previous lessons by organizing them by type of build in a world specifically made to house your builds. Tinkercad

Planet Minecraft is a great resource for detailed builds. However, some lessons may require a large but simple three-dimensional shape or a build you simply cannot find on planet Minecraft. Tinkercade is a browser-based 3D modeling with a very large active community that is constantly making new structures that can be used. Whether it s a cone or a 3D model of Big Ben, if you cannot find it on planetminecraft.com, you may find it here.

Behavior Packs

Most situations with a simulator will not require the use of a behavior pack. Usually only if it is an exceptionally large build.
