Using Minecraft as a Virtual Reality tool in the Classroom
VR in the Classroom
Content Centered, Standards Driven
Hello educators. Are you searching for a resource to help explain the application of Minecraft education as a Virtual Reality tool? Then you have come to the right place. This site is made by an educator, myself, for educators interested in utilizing Minecraft as a virtual reality instrument to represent content in real-world situations. I have spent the last ten years teaching middle school and have implemented Minecraft to represent content that can be taken as a formative grade whether the student is or is not familiar with the program.
On this site, I have created two online learning courses, or Leaning Paths, for any educator, administrator, or parent who would like to know how to create standards-based lessons for Minecraft education lessons that can be applied to any grade level k-12. The methods I teach require time; learning the Minecraft Education program and other third-party programs is needed to make the creation process more efficient.
The feedback from students and other teachers has been overwhelmingly positive. Even if you have no idea how to operate Minecraft Education, please check out my pre-made lessons on Microsoft Learn.
